Arborist Medical Response

The Arborist Medical Response Course is designed to provide arborists and emergency responders with the critical skills needed to handle medical emergencies in tree care and forestry environments. This course focuses on trauma management, injury prevention, and emergency medical procedures specific to the unique hazards encountered in the arborist profession. Whether working at height or on the ground, this course will enhance your ability to respond to accidents and deliver immediate care in the field.

Prerequisites

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Arborist, forestry, or emergency medical background recommended

• No prior medical certification required

Instructor and Paramedic with nearly 3 decades of experience in medical response, safety protocols, and training for specialized professions, including arboriculture and high-risk work environments. Specializes in trauma management, injury prevention, and emergency care for tree care workers. Former SWAT Team Medic with extensive field experience in both urban and remote environments, with expertise in high-altitude medical response and rescue.
