RANGE SAFETY OFFICER Medical Response

You have chosen to accept all the responsibilities of a Range Safety Officer.

One of the prime responsibilities of the RSO is ensuring the administration of appropriate first aid and arranging for emergency medical treatment in if required.

Tactical Medical Training is pleased to offer a six (6) hour seminar that will enhance your capability to provide you with confidence and skills to manage trauma as a first responder.

There are no perquisites.

As you read this, I want you to imagine yourself in the role of an RSO at your range.

If you’re being honest, you were most likely visualizing a bright sunny, warm day.

How many of you were visualizing rain, cold, low light, or even in the winter?

Now as you read this, I want you to imagine yourself back at the range and you hear a gunshot, screams of pain, and chaos, and you are being called by name to help.

If you’re being honest, were you visualizing you may be coming to assist multiple casualties or even a child? Do you know what medical equipment you may need? Do you know what is in your med bag?  Did you know what you would say over the phone to 911? Did you know how to organize the evacuation?

Accidents happen anywhere anytime, day or night, summer, and winter. More than likely, you may have the added stress of multiple people being hurt at the same time and statistically, these are usually people you know.

Range Safety Officer Medical Response will give you the peace of mind and confidence to be medically prepared to provide critical lifesaving procedures in the event of injuries related to firearm use.

The goal of this course is to give you the capability to walk into an emergency with nothing other than your hands and your brain. The unique teaching format gives you the edge you need by being able to recall critical information when you need it.
